Most of us have learned to despise legalism. God has revealed that we do not earn acceptance from Him based on us keeping a man-made set of rules. We are not saved by keeping the Law. Our relationship with God is based on His grace through faith in all that Jesus has made available to us in His blood-covenant. Yet, those who are saved by grace through faith are certainly made into new creations. Our lifestyles change and we are called to pursue Jesus and to reflect Jesus in everything that encompasses our lives. This message details what a life transformed by consecration looks like. Though we are all growing in our commitments to Christ, we are called and empowered to immediately put off some old things from our previous days before we received Christ. We are also called to enter into some new things, empowered by Holy Spirit and motivated by growing love for Jesus. How much is too much consecration? This message raises the bar for how we approach the consecrated life.
