Evangelists are intercessors. Our role is not only to share the gospel, but also to pray fervently for God to prepare the hearts of the hearers to accept it.
The Kingdom prayer is simply, "Your kingdom come, Your will be done!" This prayer aligns us with God's mission, agenda, and methods for reaching the lost. It opens us up to hear the Holy Spirit clearly so that we may be part of His work to establish His kingdom. When we surrender our own agendas to God's will, we invite the Holy Spirit to work through us rather than despite of us.
